About the socks

What are WearMoods socks made of?
All our socks are knitted from 20/1 combed cotton yarn. The Christmas socks and Beer Mood are 80% cotton, 17% polyamide and 3% elastane; Domino is 80% cotton, 17% nylon and 3% elastane. Combing removes short fibres so the yarn feels smoother and softer; the polyamide (nylon) adds strength and the elastane gives stretch so the sock holds its shape.

Where are they made?
All WearMoods socks are designed by us and made in Turkey.

What length are they?
Crew length, which sits at mid-calf. They have a non-binding cuff that stays up without pinching.

Are they thick or thin?
They're an everyday weight: soft and warm enough for winter, thin enough to wear with normal shoes and work trousers.

How do I wash them?
Machine wash at 30°C, inside out. Don't bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean. Washing inside out protects the knitted designs.

Size and fit

What size are the socks?
Our Christmas socks, the Christmas Mood gift box, Beer Mood and the Simply Black box are one size, fitting UK shoe sizes 7.5–11.5 (EU 41–46). Domino socks fit UK 7–9.5 (EU 41–44). See the sock size guide.

Will they fit women?
Yes, if she wears UK 7.5 or above. On smaller feet (UK 6–7) the one-size socks will feel roomy at the heel; Domino is the closer fit from UK 7.

Will they fit a man with size 12 feet?
The one-size socks will be snug at UK 12. Above that, we'd honestly suggest a different gift.

Do you make children's socks?
Not at the moment. All our socks are adult sizes.

Delivery

How much is delivery?
Standard UK delivery is free and takes 2–4 business days. Express UK delivery is £5 and takes 1–2 business days.

How quickly do you dispatch?
Within 1 business day, Monday to Friday. Weekend orders are dispatched on Monday.

What's the last day to order for Christmas 2026?
Wednesday 16 December for free standard delivery, or Friday 18 December for express. For Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 10 December, order by Thursday 3 December. See Christmas delivery dates.

Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not currently. We deliver to UK addresses only.

Gifts

Do the socks come gift-wrapped?
Our gift boxes arrive in a WearMoods box, ready to give without wrapping. Single pairs come rolled. We don't offer extra gift wrapping.

Can I send a gift straight to the recipient?
Yes. Enter their address as the delivery address at checkout.

What's in the Christmas Mood gift box?
Four pairs, one of each Christmas design: Snowy Village, Ho Ho, Holly Berry and Starry Forest. It's £15, which works out at £3.75 a pair. See the gift box.

Returns

Can I return socks?
Yes, within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as they're unworn and in their original packaging. Return postage is paid by the customer. See our refund policy.

What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
Contact us with your order number and a photo, and we'll sort it out.
